BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Amazing View
This place was perfect for our family! We loved having coffee every morning on the lanai overlooking the ocean. The location was also perfect for everything we wanted to do on our trip.

The condo is perfectly located. Sitting on the lanai is heavenly. Both bedrooms are comfortable.
The grounds are beautiful. We very much enjoyed the views from the lanai and bedroom. The only unfortunate is that it is advertised as having a gym. There was no gym. As a person that works out regularly, I was disappointed. Other aspects were great!

Loved my view of the Ocean
The unit was very nice! LOVED my view from the balcony and bedroom! Everything was updated and I really appreciated the use of the provided cooler for our day trips and binoculars for whale watching from the balcony. I spent hours there. LOL I came to Maui in February to watch the whales and was not disappointed. Not any fault of the place, but with downtown Lahaina closed down from the fires, dining in the area was a struggle. We learned quickly that dinner reservations are a must and should be made early if you don't want to eat fast food or drive an hour to get somewhere else. Check in was very confusing. Instructions said to check in with security desk. We arrived just after 6pm and there was nobody that worked in the place anywhere to be found. There was also no one available at the number given to us for this particular unit's property manager. So we kinda had to guess where to go to find the unit. It's a little confusing because there are a couple of properties very close together which made it appear that they were all connected. Once we found the elevator though and went to the 2nd floor we found it with no problem. And access to the unit was easy with the lockbox outside. Overall, the say was very nice. Although after exploring other areas of the Island, I think I would book in another location just given the distance to drive to most of the popular attractions from this place.

Unit needs maintenance, cleaning, and pantry supplies
Pros: 1) We could hear and see the ocean (and a couple of turtles!) from our second story unit. 2) The unit was spacious. 3) It was in a convenient location. Cons: 1) The pictures on VRBO are totally misleading. The unit was run down and dirty. 2) The unit was not clean when we arrived. There was popcorn and food stains all over the rug and the sofa was super old and smelled of body odor. 3) The toilet in one of the bathrooms was blocked. 4) This unit had absolutely nothing in the way of pantry condiments. The knives were dull and the cutting board was falling apart. 5) The front screen door kept getting jammed so it would take us a while to get out. 6) The toaster and coffee maker stopped working and when we reported it, nobody came by to fix them so we had to buy all our coffee outside our whole trip. 7) Both of the magnetic wooden shutters were broken in the living room and master bedroom so the light was not totally blocked out.

Beautiful property on beach
On beach . Beautiful balcony views. Well stocked condo. Not far from shopping and restaurants. No AC which was fine for us since fans and breezes made up for it most of the time. But if u require ac, then this is not the property for you. All positives. If i had to list negatives, it is a little smaller than it looks. But it worked for 3 adults and 2 kids. Also, wish the pool was bigger and facing the beach..
